De toernooi datum is redelijk vast, en is zondag 24 oktober in de joon. Het aantal punten is van 750 richting 1000 punten opgekrikt. Dit om een wat mooiere lijst te kunnen maken. Het toernooi, en de lowland mercenary’s zijn tegenwoordig ook via deze site te benaderen. Pre registratie is nog steeds mogelijk. Op het moment van schrijven zijn 4 van de 16 plaatsen besproken.

July 10th, 2010Eind september komt er in Lelystad een 40k toernooi. Op dit moment kan je je voor registreren door mij een mail te sturen op dijkmanb at gmail.com. Of door je te registreren en commentaar aan te brengen op de site.
Het toernooi zal uit 2 of drie battles bestaan met een legertje van 750 punten. Je zal worden beoordeeld op army selection, schilderen, en ook als persoon. De kosten zullen tussen de 5 en 10 euro bedragen.
Thunderhawk setback
June 30th, 2010Unfortunately my thunderhawk crashed! All wingparts have broken off. I will need to re glue them. I think i will be magnetizing all wings and the tail section. This is the last picture of the thunderhawk when it was in one piece.

Apocalypse 21 maart bij Remco
March 29th, 2010Bij Remco was er weer een apocalypse battle. Deze keer met veel vreemde regels. Ons doel het beschermen van “The fortress of redemption”. Natuurlijk een epic fail. De laatste beurt was voor de attackers.
Ducosim Apocalypse battle
March 8th, 2010I played a nice apocalypse battle at the ducosim meeting of Saturday 6 march. The battle was organized by gwhobby. Our side won due to completing our personnel objectives. We played an defensive game where i played a defender (2500 points) against an attacker (3500 points). Both sides had 3 team members. The objectives where bunkers.
Battle mission
February 25th, 2010No not the new Games Workshop Battle missions, but our own missions. Mark and i played a small (1000 point army) battle on his new city boards. I took some pictures during the battle. The outcome was a draw, which was ok. We both had a random mission chosen from a deck of cards.

Harts: For every table quarter that has no enemy unit you get 1,2,3 or 4 points. (Immobilized Vehicles or worst do not count).
Diamonds: Destroy HQ. 2 points for 1/2. 6 points for full.
Clubs: Surprise
I had Harts, Mark had spades. I misread my mission, claiming 3 quarters. Unfortunately i had an other mission (harts).

Toernooi Joon 13-12-2009
December 19th, 2009Last Sunday at the joon there was a small Warhammer 40k tournament. I took some pictures, and even i am in them! it seemed i won the painting competition with my necrons! Wow that is pretty cool. I think i finished third in the overall pool. Leo was best overall, and Remco was best general. Next time I will try to finish my dark angel terminator list.

Thunderhawk
December 19th, 2009I have started with the construction of a Space Marine thunderhawk. In these pictures you can see the work on the front prow. I will be adding comments and pictures as work progresses. I have stated work on the cockpit. I used bits of a landspeeder to use as seats. The marines will be added later. The entire model will be made from plastic card with exception of the engines.
30-12-2009:
I have closed up the front of the hull. I now need to paint the interior of the cockpit. I have started with the external plates to give extra detail to the machine. I am using old “extra armor” upgrades to create the side doors.
01-02-2010:
I have started detailing the outside. Using toothpicks for a grid. I have made the dark angels chapter symbol to stick to the front.
