You get to know which parts you have, and what combo&#8217;s you could make.</p>
<p><strong>Step two Lots of Glue</strong></p>
<p><a class="shutterset_" href="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/stap2.jpg"><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-right" src="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/thumbs/thumbs_stap2.jpg" alt="stap2.jpg" /></a>I&#8217;ve started with all the bases building them all one-step at the time. Until finally all 25 of them are put together. Lots of leftovers though. But I&#8217;ll probably use them later one in a conversion project of some sort.</p>
<p>Next step is a base layer of paint. I used black coating spray (of car paint&#8230;.). <a class="shutterset_" href="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/stap3.jpg"><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-right" src="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/thumbs/thumbs_stap3.jpg" alt="stap3.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Painting</strong></p>
<p><a class="shutterset_" href="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/almost-done.jpg"><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-center" src="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/thumbs/thumbs_almost-done.jpg" alt="almost-done.jpg" /></a>As you can see in the picture, they are a mean bunch. But not yet done. After I applied the basic coating of black, i painted the arms brown. I added a layer of elf flesh color to highlight the arms (and legs). After that i experimented with a green ink wash. It looks very nice if i do say so myself. I also painted the wooden staffs and shields at his stage. Some basic metal colors where added for all weapons. Some of the more heavy armored scaven got a beaten copper Armour with golden highlights. It looks very nice. This was also a little experiment of mine.</p>
<p><strong>Dotting the eyes.</strong></p>
<p>To finish it all off i gave all weapons a silver highlight for the sharp edges. Some of the woodwork was highlighted with a mixture of flesh an brown. All leather objects where painted now to. I decided to highlight some of the clothes with red-gore. This made it look more like a unit. The eyes where coloured blood red. And i was done painting.</p>
<p>All I have to do now is finish off the bases&#8230;&#8230; <a class="shutterset_" href="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/done.jpg"><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-left" src="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/thumbs/thumbs_done.jpg" alt="done.jpg" /></a><a class="shutterset_" href="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/done2.jpg"> <img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-left" src="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/thumbs/thumbs_done2.jpg" alt="done2.jpg" /> </a><a class="shutterset_" href="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/mean-bunch.jpg"><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-right" src="http://warhammer.dijkman-dulkes.nu/wp-content/gallery/miniatures/scaven/thumbs/thumbs_mean-bunch.jpg" alt="mean-bunch.jpg" /></a></p>
